What the Funds Support:

The funds raised by Blooms & Blessings for Hope fund the general operations for the Cleveland County Abuse Prevention Council.

APC offers crisis intervention services, safe shelter, court advocacy/ accompaniment, on-site medical accompaniment, and counseling services aimed at enhancing safety, self-sufficiency, and empowerment for victims, enabling them to pursue independent, violence-free lives.

By reducing incidents of repeat violence and fostering accountability for perpetrators, APC programs strive to create environments where individuals can thrive.

APC’s dedicated Case Managers and Advocates work closely with victims to develop personalized action plans, facilitating access to essential resources such as permanent housing, public benefits, income stabilization, employment opportunities, health/mental health care, and legal assistance. Case Managers are actively expanding life skills education initiatives through both group sessions and individual interventions.

The APC team also includes a Licensed Professional Counselor who delivers specialized psychotherapy tailored to mitigate the distress associated with traumatic memories, further supporting victims on their journey to healing.
